AUDIENCE RESEARCH

I decided to do some audience research on peoples reaction to a shot from the advert. I picked an ambiguous one that could have many different readings, as I would get the most interesting and varies responses:

It was really promising that the two clearly most popular were 'sexual' and 'confusion'. If we wanted to do a sexual scene but wanted it to be more confusing and less romantic we could use a shot like this. I think the colour and positioning creating the feeling of a sexual scene and the blurring made it more confusing.
