FALL OUT (filmed/edited by Dylan Knight)

WARM WATER (filmed/edited by Dylan Knight)

-
Running water looks like diamonds
-
Metaphor of water, as in title, runs throughout
-
Filmed on a Canon 6D
-
Attractive stylistic patterns
-
Mirror edit of water sprays looks very atractive
-
White water in black and white stands out and creates an effective contrast
-
Water ripples create lovely smooth reflections, very attractive

-
Very dark photos
-
Very dim or no back light
-
The gems catching the light is very attractive and effective, possibly made more effective by being in black and white
-
Different shades of grey on her back gives depth
-
Less connection as no eyelight hard to see eyes and connect
-
Low back of dress and angle she is sitting makes her vulnerable and exposed
-
Light coming from side/above frames the top of her face
-
Side profile of her face detaches audience as she is not facing the camera
-
Light catches features, lips, nose, above eyes, makes her look more attractive
-
Lots of different shades of grey as well as big contrast between white highlights and shadows
-
Projection of image of explosion over her
-
Black hair and dress means it is not projected onto her
-
Only picked up on her face, which means she doesn't interact with it as much and it acts more as a background

As the graph shows the most said responses were sad and sexual, which is what we wanted, so in our own production we could use shots that have similar elements to create a similar response.
